"Reasons You Should Become an Author"
Being an author
is one of the most coveted careers in the world. The title holds a
certain mystique, because we all know authorsare brilliant
visionaries--wink, wink.
Okay, so not all authors live up the mythical, iconic image with which
we've branded them. Most authors are just regular people like, well,
you. What am I implying here? That you can--and should--become an
author for several very good reasons.
1. Authors Can Do Anything - Once you write a book--and this doesn't
have to be a book that is published on the bestseller list--you are
virtually guaranteed a clear path to doing dozens of other things. For
instance, authors are constantly interviewed on the radio. You can use
that opportunity to promote your book, e-book, website, services,
anything. You could even teach a class, hold a seminar, become a
consultant, etc. The only qualification is your book; your instant key
to respect and success.
2. You Can Choose to Sell Your Book or Give it Away - If you promote
your book or e-book well enough, you can make a great income. But if
you write an e-book, you can also choose to give it away on your
website. That way you can attract hordes of visitors wanting to
download your book, and maybe sell them on something else while they're
there. You can even give it away as a free bonus for purchasing one of
your products or services.
